We encourage you to report any sightings of unidentified phenomena. Contact us via e-mail Groups like the Cleveland Ufology Project are the only ones truly investigating UFO reports. The official US Air Force and NASA press releases state that they DO NOT investigate UFO sightings. They tell you to contact your local Law Enforcement. Unfortunately local police generally know nothing about the UFO subject. The local news media generally know very little about UFOs as well and don't do true investigations. This is why it is very important that you contact CUP. If you feel you are in danger, call your local police department. What to report Details are important so we suggest you write down everything as soon after the event as possible. Take note of things such as the exact time and date, weather, names of other witnesses, colors, shapes, sounds, etc. Please also note your location, direction where you saw the object, how high above the horizon (in degrees 0 is horizon and 90 is directly above you) Pictures and video are even more helpful so have your cameras handy! When taking pictures it's good to get some pictures with a reference object on the ground such as a house or trees. Could it be something explainable? Check the Heavens Above website to view Astronomical and Satellite information. |
