Incident Date: 7/4/05
Time: 10:30pm
Location: Parma, OH
Original Witness Report:
"I seen a orange light (looked
like the flame of a torch) on July 4th 2005 at about 10:30 pm to
11:00 pm East of York Road in Parma, Ohio. There was about 10 witnesses
that seen it too. We all watched as the light went fairly quickly back
and forth (left, right) for about 15-20 seconds at about a 1/4 mile
span and disappeared. We all just sat there with no explaination, just
wonderment.
It
was about 45 degrees up and we were looking to the East. It moved
really fast left and right a couple of times then disappeared. The
fireworks just ended and they were to the west, so we all turned around
and were talking and someone looked up and seen it. I swear I
have never seen anything like it before"
S.S. sent this eyewitness report on 9/29/2007:
"I saw that a person had said that they saw a UFO in Parma on july 4,
200[5] near York Rd. I honestly don't believe this to be true because I
was near York Rd. to attend Tri-c's annual fireworks display. if there
was anything abnormal don't you think that over a thousand people
would've seen it as well? I remember seeing the flashing "red light".
it came from the south and headed towards the north turning west towards
Hopkins. I thought to myself what is that thing, I did watch it cross
over the sky. I thought its going to get hit with the fireworks debris
;its flying kind of low. Well it ended up turning and alas it turned
out to be a plane headed towards Hopkins. i figured it was a small
piper cub taking pictures of the display."
Without any further information it seems that this object was an airplane flying rather close to the fireworks display.
